My mom is my favorite home cook in the entire world. She knows it all, she’s my mentor and my role model. One of the her very own amazing recipes is her famous pasta salad. I remember eating this a lot during the hot summer days growing up.
500 g Penne
3 dl Crème Fraîche
Half a cucumber
1 Minched garlic
Chili explosion spice mix.
325 g canned shoulder ham
Start by boiling the Penne(pasta) as shown on the label. Use a mixing bowl and mix together half a sliced and cut in half cucumber. Cut up the ham in dices and add them into the mixing bowl. When the penne is done, mix it gently into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients and add the Crème Fraîche. Mix it all well together and season with salt, pepper, garlic and some chili explosion spice mix.
This dish is perfect for a hot summer day, a brunch, a lunch or what ever you want to use it for. This is a dish that will hit a home rune at any event! If you put all of the pasta inn you will end up killing the flavor of the other components in the dish.)
