We all know there is nothing better than to through a couple of steaks on the BBQ in the hot summer weather. Today I’m making a Steak dinner, but since it’s too cold to be firing up the grill, I’m going to cook them in a skillet in my beloved kitchen instead.
2 sirloin steaks
Chopped fresh parsley
1 Clove of garlic
Tuscan spice mix
1 Bag of frozen potato cakes
200 g Mushrooms
How to make Hetty’s Steak Dinner:
Start by cooking the potato cakes as written on the package or label. Beat the steak with your fist a few times to make it more tender. Rub the steak inn with salt, pepper, garlic and freshly chopped parsley on both sides. Put it aside for now, then peal and slice up the zucchini, and wash and slice up the mushrooms. Put all of the vegetables in a skillet with some butter or olive oil, season with salt, pepper and Tuscan spice mix, and saute the vegetables until they get a golden color. Now cook the steak in some butter in a skillet a couple of minutes on each side. Serve it up with potato cakes, Mushrooms and Zucchini.
