My mom often made stuffed pita when I was a kid, and I loved it. L-O-V-E-D it! It was one of my favorite dishes when I was a kid. My mom makes the most wonderful dishes, she’s the best cook I know of. She can make a dish out of anything, and she’s not only creative but also really handy and she really knows what she’s doing in the kitchen, as well as around the house in general. I wanted to share this recipe with you so hopefully you can enjoy it as much as I do.
1 box of canned corn
1 box of canned sliced mushrooms
All-around spice mix
Chili Explosion spice mix
1 Clove of garlic
How to make Hetty’s Stuffed Pita!
First start my warming the pita-bread in the oven. ( follow the instructions on the label.) Mix the corn and the mushrooms in a large mixing bowl and season with pepper and chili explosion. Cook the ground beef in a skillet, season with all around spice mix, Chili explosion, pepper and 1 minced clove of garlic. When the meat have a golden brown color and are properly cooked. Add the meat into the bowl of corn and mushrooms. Mix it well together before adding hamburger-dressing/sauce. When you’ve mixed it all well together, start by cutting the top of the pita-bread off and use a spoon to stuff the pita with the filling you’ve made. If you have leftovers of the stuffing, you can serve it on the side. You can serve it with a salad on the side, or just as they are.
