After a long day I decided to make waffles. Who doesn’t love waffles, am I right? These are nothing like Belgian Waffles, but they’re just as good. It’s super easy to make and it doesn’t take forever to make.
Ingredients:
5 Eggs
4 Dl whole milk
100 g Melted butter
4 Dl All purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
5 Tablespoons of Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cardamom ( optional)
How to make Hetty’s Nordic Waffles:
This recipe makes about 7 waffles.
Put all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and dilute with a little milk at a time. Stir well between each time to avoid getting lumps.
Then mix in the eggs and add the melted butter. Let batter stand and swell 1/2 hour.
Bake the waffles in a Norwegian waffle iron( and you’ll get heart-shaped waffles.) and serve them right up with some strawberry or raspberry jam. It’s super delirious and super easy to make! Note: They’re best served warm.
