I’ve always wanted to try making pavlova cake. One day I decided to give it try, my mom happened to have bought a pavlova cake mix a few weeks back, so even though I’m not a big fan of cake mix’s I decided to give it a try. I followed the recipe on the back, and after whipping the mixture for over 10 minutes, I placed it on a baking try and put it in the oven as written on the back of the cake mix. I took it out, it cracked down the middle, but I didn’t really care, It was my first time making this cake, it was a cake mix and I didn’t have a lot of expectations. While the cake was cooling down, I started making the vanilla-cream topping. My mom had some vanilla-cream so I just took it out of it’s container and used a table spoon to make it smooth. I pour the vanilla-cream evenly over the cake, and I decorate it with fresh raspberry and blueberries on top. The cake was a success and I’m surprised to say it in fact was better than a Pavlova made from scratch. I’ve tasted home-made pavlova cakes made from scratch many times before, but the cake mix was in fact better! I never, rarely prefer cake mix over cakes made from scratch so this was a nice surprise. If you ever are in the mood for some pavlova, go for the cake mix!
I hope you have an amazing day, and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a new post! 🙂
