I recently made guacamole for the first time. I knew three of the basic ingredients used in guacamole, so I started experimenting in the kitchen a I often do and I knew if I screwed up the whole meal would be ruined. I got extremely lucky and my first guacamole tasted amazing. I was planning to use a blender to mix everything together, but the blender stopper working. All my ingredients where in the blender, and ever ingredient was half mushed. I had to think fast, so what I did was put everything into a mixing bowl, and moshed everything together. But in the end I got a flavorful guacamole I’m proud to say is my own.
Ingredients:
2 Avocados
Half a red onion ( chopped)
Juice of half a lime or lemon
1 Tomato
Salt
Pepper
Chili flakes
How to make Hetty’s Guacamole;
Cut the avocados in half, and scoop it out into a blender, or a mortar and pestle. Add the chopped onion, one chopped tomato, the juice of half a lime or lemon, salt, pepper and chili flakes. Mosh it all together until you get a smooth and a little chunky guacamole.
Guacamole is super easy to make, and I can’t believe that I haven’t tried to make it before now. This recipe turned out a lot better than I first expected, and I really recommend trying it.
I hope you’ve had an amazing day and a happy Easter celebration. I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a new post! 🙂
