Hetty’s fall special!

Hey y’all and welcome to my kitchen!

Today I made a dish I like to call Hetty’s fall special. What’s great about that particular dish is that it’s all about using what you have and make something great out of it. When I was planning this weeks menu I went through the freezer, the fridge and the kitchen cabinets to see if there was something fun and tasty I could make of what we had laying around. That’s how I came up with today’s dish ‘Hetty’s fall special’ .

Ingredients:

450 g sausage

6 small/medium sized potatoes

2 scallions

1 medium/large red onion

2 cloves of minced garlic

1 fresh broccoli

Salt

Pepper

Chili flakes

Tuscan spice blend

How to make Hetty’s fall special:

1. Start by cutting the potatoes in half and boil them for 10-20 minuets add some salt into the water.

2. While the potatoes are boiling; Cut the sausages in half, sideways before slicing them up. Add them into a skillet with some butter and let them cook until they got a golden color. Season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, Tuscan spice blend and one minced garlic. While the sausage are in the skillet you can start to slice up the onion and the scallions. When the sausages are done, put them on a plate and put it aside for now. Then add the onion and the scallions Into a skillet with some butter until they got a golden color. Season with chili flakes, Tuscan spice blend, salt, pepper and one minced garlic. When they have reached a golden color add them on the plate with the sausages.

3. When the potatoes are ready, drain the water and put them into cold water and let them cool down. When the potatoes are cold, slice them up into chucked and add fry them in a skillet with some butter and seasoning. When the potatoes have reached a golden color add them into a wok pan. And start boiling the broccoli.

4. Add the sausages and the vegetables into the wok pan with the potatoes. Add some butter so it doesn’t stick. When the broccoli are done add them into the wok pan with the rest of the ingredients. Let it cook together for about 5-10 minutes and it’s ready to be served.

To make this dish was easier and more fun than I expected.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we did.

I hope y’all have an amazing day and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a new post!
