Today I wanted to shear my moms very own recipe on garlic/herb butter. This is perfect if you’re making garlic bread or simply want a really good butter for a baked potato. It’s perfect either way.
100 g butter
1 minced clove og garlic
2 Tables spoons of mixed fresh herbs( parsley, lemon thyme, oregano and chives)
How to make Mom’s famous garlic/herb butter:
Let the butter be room temperature so it’s easier to work with. Then add t into a mixing bowl, add 1 minced garlic, the mix of fresh herbs(chopped) salt and pepper. Mix it all well together.
Use a piece of aluminum foil, place the butter mix in the middle, and roll it up so it looks like a sausage. Put it in the fridge to rest for at least 10 minutes. Take the butter out and use it for a baked potato, a garlic bread or what ever comes to mind. This is perfect for anything.
If you have any leftovers you can just wrap it together again and put it back the fridge until next time.
I really love this recipe and we’ve used it a lot lately. It’s truly amazing and I really recommend trying it.
