Casserole egg dish – Wednesday

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I’m really sorry about that. I’ve been very busy with writing and if I’m going to have a chance of getting done in time for my own deadline I need to speed up my writing truth me told. I might have mentioned before that if I’m not posting it’s because I’m writing. I needed a small break from writing so I got a few minutes on my hand to write a post, finally. When i’m writing I tend to make something easy and relatively quick for dinner. Today I made a casserole egg dish. Basically I just whipped 10 eggs, 10 tablespoons of milk, salt pepper together. Then I preheated the oven to 400 degrees. I put some sausages in a pan and gave them some color. Season them with chili flakes, salt, pepper, and Tuscan spice blend. Then I put them into a buttered casserole dish and added some small Italian meatballs, broccoli ( you can use fresh – boiled broccoli or frozen.) then I poured the egg mix over, added some grated mozzarella on top and put it in the oven for 30 minutes. I served it up with some bread on the side. You can also serve it with some salad on the side if  you want. My mom said it was the best dish I ever made. Well, I don’t know about that but I think it turned out better than I first expected. It was good, but far from the best I’ve made. This was an easy, tasty dish I through together of what I could find in the fridge. I love trying out new dishes that I’ve popped up in my head. You win some you loose some, this was defiantly count as a win.
