Hey everyone!

Today I made ham and cheese pie, I love it when a good pie comes together don’t you? I decided to try a “pie-dough-kit” because I’ve heard it’s supposed to be really good, so I thought it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. It actually turned out a whole lot better then I first expected. A Pie is dish that’s basically perfect for any occasion. Weather it’s to welcome someone new to your neighborhood or if you want to bring a dish to a family&friends gathering. Either way pie is perfect.

Ingredients to make Hetty’s ham and cheese pie filling:

4 Medium/large eggs

1 1/2 Cup of milk

salt

Pepper

Chili flakes

Grated cheese

2 oz. of slices of ham

How to make Hetty’s ham and cheese pie filling:

  1.  I used a pie dough kit that I bought at super marked. If you’re using a pie dough kit, follow the instructions on the label before adding the filling. On the label you will most likely will be instructed on when to add the filling of your liking.
  2. Mix together the eggs in a mixing bowl, pour inn the milk and season with salt, pepper and chili flakes. Spread the slices of ham in the bottom of your pie, pour inn the egg mix and sprinkle a good amount of grated cheese on top. Put the pie in the oven as written on the label of the pie-dough-kit.  When it’s done, serve it up with a nice salad on the side.

I enjoy having pie for dinner, and I for sure will be making more of it.  It’s so easy to make and it’s so tasty as well..

I hope all of you have an amazing Wednesday so far, and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a new recipe and a new post. Tomorrow I’m making Swedish meatballs served with a sweet potato mash and grilled asparagus.
