It’s Thursday, the weekend is right around the corner and today we’re having fish patties served with grated carrots, boiled potatoes and butter. It’s actually really good, it sounds boring but it’s super tasty and it’s healthy as well.
Truth be told they are store bought, I know it’s a big no these days and everything needs to be cooked from scratch and I normally cook most dishes from scratch and I’m trying to get even better at it because the fact is making it from scratch are better, cheaper and more healthy.
There are on the other hand a lot of things you can do with sauce mixes for instance. You can add spices, herbs, garlic to add flavors to your sauce if you’re using a sauce mix.
Tomorrow I’m making Pasta with a meat sauce and mushrooms. but instead of making it from scratch as I normally do I’m using a jar of marinara pasta sauce from a brand called Dolmio. I will go into more detail about what I’m adding into the dish to make it more flavorful tomorrow, so stay tuned for that.
I’m thinking about trying out my new smoothie blender tomorrow, not sure if I have everything I need to make a smoothie though, so I’ll have to check that out before promising anything. But if I do have everything I need to make a smoothie I will try that out, if not there is always next week.
Thinking about next weeks meal plan.. Not sure how that’ll turn out just yet. What I do know is that on Tuesday I have an meeting at the hospital, a check up appointment kinda thing. So most likely we’ll be grabbing a bite to eat on our way back home. Other than that I’ve no idea what to put up for next weeks meal plan, but no worries. I still got some time to figure it out.
