Hey everyone!

It’s Saturday and what’s better than a good juicy stake on a Saturday night? am I right? well, personally I love stakes and my mom makes the best steaks ever. Today we cooked together, I love it when we do that, I always learn something new. She’s always in good mood, she’s kind to everyone and she lights up the room with her amazing smile. She is a very inspiring person, and I’m happy that she’s my mom, she’s truly the best. ❤

We cooked stakes with  grilled zucchini and aroma mushrooms for dinner today. My mom cooked the meat and I took care of the vegetables. We we’re also having baked potatoes that I put into the oven for an hour and followed instructions I found online on how to do it.. Let’s just say they didn’t turn out that great. they were hard as stone, well.. A not that hard, but too hard to eat. Everything was timed so that everything would be done at the same time. We tried to eat the potatoes as well even though they were a little too hard, it was an interesting experience, but next time we’re putting it in the microwave for sure.

I love stakes as I’ve already said, but another thing that make stake dinners so awesome is that you can have a large variety of side dishes to it, it never gets boring, never. My family loves zucchini, and so do I. We have some sort of zucchini almost every week. It’s so easy to cook, simply cut them in half, then in quarters and slice them up and throw them in a pan with some butter and season with salt and pepper. It’s as simple as that and it is so so good.  If you love zucchini then you should try it if you haven’t already. Anyway the list of side dishes you can serve when you’re serving stakes are long, different types of potato dishes, different types of vegetables. The list goes on and on when it comes to what or how you want to serve your side dishes.

Let’s talk about tomorrows dish. Tomorrow my mom is making a dish I invented when I was in elementary school. We’ve had this dish more often than I can even count over the years. It’s pretty simple to make, and it’s so tasty and perfect for any day of the week. It’s not the type of dish that you bring to someone or serve at a fancy dinner party. But it’s the perfect dish for any day at the week, It’s perfect for people in any age group and it’s perfect for ” We’re out of ideas, what are we having for dinner today.” kinda dish. The dish is called Henriette’s special, I know my name is kind of hard to pronounce so let’s call it Hetty’s Special since that’s my nick-name.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow for the recipe.

I hope all of you have an amazing Saturday so far, and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for new post.
