It’s a new week filled with new opportunities and plenty of new ingredients to cook with. I’m so excited for this weeks food-blogging. On Wednesday We’re having a family breakfast, a nice thing to do on hump day. I like all days of the week, they all are filled with new opertunities and new ways to shine. If you fail, get up, dust yourself off and try again. That’s life, same goes for cooking. You fail and try again until you get it right.
My days are filled with writing and cooking, and there is a part of me that is sick and tired of this winter waether we keep getting around here. Longing for the sun, the heat, even the humidity in fact. Long days of writing and cookig outdoors what a wonderful time of the year, so is winter, Thanksgiving and Christmas as well but now it’s March and I really want spring and summer to come along sooner rather than later. Well, all we can do on this point is wait for the snow to melt and the flowers to bloom. In the meantime we can still cook comfort food, stews, bake apple cakes and so on. For now all I’m going to do is relax, read a good book, have a glass of wine and cook some amazing food and last but not least spend all my days working to get my book done in time.
This week I’m not comign up with new recipes, I’m only cooking old recipes that I’ve blog aboout before witch gives me plenty of time to blog about food cultures, my big family breakfast that I’ve been planning for weeks and last but not least I get to write to you about the joy and fun there is to cook with family and friends. On Saturday me and my mom are having a Mother/daugther day, we’re going to cook somoe good food together, drink wine, watch some movies and make a day out of it. I’m really excited about that.
