It’s Saturday, and today I’m giving you a recipe on what I would like to call Hetty’s tropical. I came up with this drink simply testing out different flavors and simply experimenting to get a fresh and good flavor balance between sweet and sour. What I ended up with was Hetty’s tropical, and it turned out to be super tasty and a hit at our house. NB; This recipe contains vodka. This drink is perfect for girls night out or if you just want something refreshing to drink on a hot summer night.
4 Ice cubes
2 Cups pineapple juice
1 Cup Tom Collins drink mix (sour)
1 Cup tropical juice
2 teaspoons sugar
2-3 TBS Vodka
Pineapple slices ( Garnish)
Strawberries ( optional garnish)
2 straws in different colors
1 Tall cocktail glass
How to make Hetty’s tropical:
- Add all the ingredients into a blender or a mixer ( preferably a blender.) Blend until the ice cubes are crushed and until you get a foamy consistency.
- Add the drink mixture into a tall glass, garnish with pineapple slices, maybe some strawberries if you want an even fresher look. Add two straws in different colors and you’re ready to serve.
This is super easy to make and it’s refreshing to drink, perfect for the summer heat, girls night or even as a welcoming drink at a summer party.
