It’s Monday and since we got the whole heat wave thing going on we had to fix our pool. It needed to be cleaned and fixed up. So we drained the pool, washed it and tomorrow morning we’re going to re-fill it. And before you judge, it’s not a million dollar priced pool. It’s a large Intex pool witch you can easily set up in your backyard during spring and summer, as well as take it down and put it in your storage during winter. It’s practical, a lot of work, but practical. If you can afford to buy a built-in pool I recommend that over the one I have, but if you are like me and don’t have all the money in the world and you want your own backyard pool then go for it and buy an Intex pool.
Sorry about all the pool talk, let’s get into today’s post which is all about what’s coming up this week on Hetty’s home kitchen.
I have one new dinner recipe coming up this week, I have some ingredients in the fridge that needs to be used before the end of the week, so I’m going to figure out something fun and easy to make out of that. Other than that I’m planning on making a strawberry sauce perfect for chocolate ice cream and this will be a new recipe dessert wise that’s coming up this week. Other posts that are upcoming this week is an article about the food culture in NYC and a couple of “Food talk with Hetty” posts. I have a feeling this week will be a great one, and if not then we’ll make the best out of the situation anyway.
