Hey everyone!
Wraps are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack. There are a million different types of wraps and burritos that are suitable for any meal of the day. I love making wraps and burritos sometimes it’s fun and it’s always fun to try out a new wrap or a new burrito. Today’s recipe is easy to make, super tasty and perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
1 Pound sliced Chicken or pork
14 oz. Canned corn
14 oz. Canned sliced mushrooms
1/4 Diced cucumber
1 Avocado diced
2 Tortilla wraps
Grated cheese
1-2 teaspoons of Sourcream
1-2 teaspoons of Old El Paso taco sauce
Salt
Pepper
Butter
1 Spice mix for chicken or old El Paso burrito spice mix. ( you can also use your own Mexican spice mix.)
Directions:
- Put some butter into a skillet. When the butter has melted add in the meat. Season with salt and pepper. While the meat is cooking, add the corn, the mushrooms, the diced cucumber and the diced avocado into a mixing bowl. When the meat is cooked, add in the spice mix and let it cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
- Add the meat into the mixing bowl and gently mix it all well together. Put the tortilla wraps into the microwave for about 45 seconds. Put the tortilla on a serving plate and start adding the filling. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top, add the sour cream and the taco sauce before wrapping it together and it’s ready to be served.
This is a super easy recipe and even though it’s with a store-bought spice mix and a store-bought taco sauce I love it. Sometimes it’s perfectly fine to use spice mixes and taco sauces from the store and not make it yourself.
I hope all of you are having an amazing day and I hope to see all of you back here tomorrow for a new post.
