Hetty’s ham&cheese sandwich in the oven!

Hey everyone!

Saturday, I’ve been writing most of the day and tried to plan next weeks posts. I still got a lot to work on regarding next weeks upcoming posts and recipes so I’ll be working late tonight that’s for sure.

Today’s recipe is so easy to make that I could do it while sleeping. It doesn’t get easier than this, well I’m sure it does but it’s pretty easy and perfect for lunch on a Saturday while you’re at home and want something to eat.

2 slices Ham

Cheese slices of your choice

BBQ seasoning

2 slices of cheddar cheese

4 slices of white bread

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Put a layer of butter on each bread slice. Add one slice of ham on two of them, then season with BBQ seasoning.

2. Add a layer of your favorite cheese on top. Then add one slice of cheddar cheese on each before putting the empty bread on top. Then put on a thin layer of butter on top of the bread.

3. Put them into the oven for 10-12 minutes. When they’re done, take them out the oven and cut them diagonally or in half or anyway you might prefer, before serving.

I hope all of you like this recipe as much as we do. Note: the great thing about a grilled cheese sandwich in the oven is that you can add and remove any ingredients you want. Make it your own, it’s going to be fabulous. If you want to use salami or turkey or chicken instead of ham that’s perfectly doable and it’s going to taste amazing either way.

I hope all of you are having an amazing Saturday and I hope to see you back here tomorrow for a new post.
