How to turn store-bought tortellini into a flavorful experience.

Hey everyone!

It’s Tuesday, luckily I managed to book the food delivery service tomorrow night, which means that I will get all the “missing” groceries for this week then. I love the fact that when I’m fully booked with writing, blogging and cooking that I can order groceries online. Even though I prefer to buy my groceries in my local grocery store I love the fact that in a few clicks I can get the groceries delivered to my door any night of the week. (Monday-Friday)

Tortellini is great as a lunch or dinner. My family loves pasta. Even though we love pasta we do not own a pasta machine which results in buying pasta instead of making it ourselves. I know that learning how to make pasta can be challenging and I know that when I do purchase a pasta machine it will take a lot of patience and a lot of practice until I get it right, it’s like everything else in life, practice, practice and more practice leads to success. I know I can make pasta without a pasta machine as well, but that’s a project for another day.

So I bought a package of tortellini filled with sun-dried tomatoes in the grocery store. Today I’m going to give you a tasty tip on how you can transform your boiled tortellini into a flavorful and delightful meal. Sometimes when you cook with pre-made products from the grocery store there is always room for improvement. This is how you can make your store-bought tortellini into a flavorful and amazing meal in no time.

1 package of tortellini ( Fresh, or dried with your favorite filling.)

Grated cheese

Italian seasoning

1 Teaspoon powdered beef broth

Freshly grated parmesan

  1. Follow the instruction written on the label of the tortellini. Add one teaspoon powdered beef broth to the water to give it some flavor.
  2. When the tortellini is boiled and ready, drain the water. Heat up some butter and a tbs of EVOO in a skillet. When the butter has melted add in the tortellini and season with Italian seasoning.
  3. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top, gently stir in the grated cheese and make sure it doesn’t stick. Let it simmer in the skillet for about 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted on low heat. Then serve it up on a plate.ย  Sprinkle some freshly grated parmesan cheese on top before serving.

Whenever we have tortellini for lunch or dinner we use this improved tortellini recipe. It’s easy, it’s tasty and

I hope all of you are having an amazing Tuesday so far, and I hope to see all of you back here tomorrow for a new post.
