A cup of tea with Hetty

Hey everyone!

Today I had one of those days where you go into the grocery store to buy this and that on your shopping list and you end up shopping a bunch of wired stuff you don’t really need kinda day. I had two things written on my grocery shop list on my phone. Cookies and coffee was the items on my list and I knew I had to buy something for dinner as well. I ended up with 5 packs of cookies, two of one brand, two of another and one other kind. then instead of buying dinner I bought 4 protein bars, 2 packs of sub sandwich bread, a pack f Italian salami, and a magazine. My brain was in survivor mode. All I was thinking about was that If I have to take my mom to the hospital in the next few days or during the weekend I need something to eat that I can take to-go. I Pray that my mom will be OK and that we don’t have to go to the hospital, but we’ll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Then as if I hadn’t had a rough enough day as is, my neighbor who lives right next door rings the door bell and literally screams at me. He yelled at me and accused me of not walking the dogs because he haven’t seen me walk them. ( I walk my dogs three times a day.)   He then told me that my yard smells like shitt, something it doesn’t do what so ever. He told me that I was responsible for our common pipes being constipated, and that he wanted his money back. ( we agreed two months ago to pay half each.)  He told me that he would call the county and the management in our neighborhood and complain. He told me that we should move or give away our dogs. ( something we would never do in a million years.) That’s when I got mad, I told him that what he was saying was not the truth, and that if someone should move it should be him and not us. I think me talking back to him was something he didn’t expect. But he threatened to  complain to our county and the neighborhood council. This guy is not very bright, and he is always pretty angry and he’s just not a nice guy in general. Hopefully the situation will get better.

After the day I’ve had I sat down and enjoyed a cup of hot tea .. Since I forgot all about buying coffee. I had some cookies, and watch a variety of shows on TV with my mom. I’m really worried about my mom, I try my best to dive into my book writing as much as I can to distract myself from time to time. We’ll know more about her situation on Monday hopefully.

Thanks for joining me with a cup of tea and cookies this afternoon. I hope all of you are having an amazing day and I hope to see y’all back here tomorrow for a new post.
