Today went a little south food wise. Sometimes the things you plan don’t always work out. That doesn’t mean you stop trying though.
I’m loving life at the moment, I’m in my twenties and even though I’m always hoping for a tall handsome man to walk into my life and sweep me off my feet like a romantic comedy I’m confident that he will come along when the time is right. Speaking about life being good at the moment, I’m buying a new fall outfit. I’m beginning to love this new work harder and look amazing perspective on life. When you feel good, you look good, and I love writing and working on my book for all hours of the day or night kinda vibe.
In a week I’m going to the towns harvest festival thing. I’m excited, all though I’ve heard rumors that they will be serving hamburgers made out of deer. I’m all about trying new things and all that stuff but this one I’m staying far away from. What happened to a good old hamburger? anyway, I’m going and I’m excited about it. They only take cash and I’m a card kinda person so I would have to go on a hunt for an ATM before going there. On my list to buy is pumpkins, eggs, and zucchini. It’s not much, but I’m mostly going for the fun of it, and of course, it makes me wanna cook, and I love buying fresh foods from a market. ( As long as it does not include Deer-related meats. ) What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? I think I might have eaten moose patties by mistake once. It tasted wired.
The harvest festival is fun, If I got the courage I might go live on Instagram from the harvest festival. I feel like when I go live or filming in public, in general, I feel stupid. Then I sort of panic and talk really low and pretend I’m not filming and it gets wired. But I’m working on it, and at this point, I’m not feeling too confident about it but I will try to go live on Instagram this year from the harvest festival. If not, I’m at least going to try and get photos and maybe some video clips. I love going to food markets, and the food markets in Italy is and always will be at the top of my list. I would love to go to a fall festival or a harvest festival in Alabama or something. I’ve heard it’s supposed to be great. Do have any fall festivals or harvest festivals near you, that you go to annually? leave a comment and let me know all about it, I would love to. Food markets are the best, and there is always something good to buy.
In the big city an hour away there is this food hall thing, I’m sure that If I went there with a million bucks I would be broke by the time I got out. I’ve heard amazing things about it but so far I have never been there, I’ve only heard about it, seen photos etc.
Anyway, tomorrow I’m posting a new recipe just in time for the game. It’s going to be a sandwich with Sicilian salami with cheese and I’m really excited to share it with all of you. This is the kind of sandwich that is perfect for a game day, for lunch, dinner or as a quick bite to eat on your way out.
I hope all of you are having an amazing Saturday so far and I hope to see y’all back here tomorrow for a new post.
