Hey everyone!
What a day, I’ve been on the run all day from one place to another. Somedays are just created for running errands I guess. Thing Is that I’ve had one of those today’s when most things I do goes wrong. First thing I almost missed my bus, then the bus took a whole other route than it was supposed to so I had to go off at a gas station. Then I had to run to the doctor’s office to pick up a letter, then I had to wait 30 minutes for the bus home. Before I went out the door my makeup routine went south as well. So my conclusion to all of this was that today was not the day to bake. If I had started baking today you can bet a hundred bucks that it would have gone terribly wrong. So I’m baking tomorrow and I’m excited about it.
Today I thought I’d do a what’s in my fridge post, it’s a lot safer that way, for all of us. So let’s take a dive into my fridge and see what we can find.
What’s in my fridge:
3 pounds Ground beef
15 Eggs
4 Sticks celery
5 Carrots
3 Onions
10 shallots
Garlic
Parmesan
Grated cheese
Ham
2 Different Kinds of cheese
2 Packs of fresh Tortellini stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes
Ketchup
Mustard
Apple juice
4 Milk
Pickles
Turkey slices
Strawberry and Raspberry Jam
Butter
Mayo
Hamburger dressing
1 pound Pork tenderloin
6 Slices grave lax
There might be something else lurking inside my fridge, but these are the most basics that I can see when I open the door. In the Freezer, I got frozen berries, vegetables, fries, fish sticks, and ice cream. I don’t think I’ve forgotten anything important there. This is what I normally have in my fridge, but I also have other things like Chicken and other meats but today this was all I got. You never know when you might get the use of carrots, onions, shallots, and celery they always go with so much and there is endless of options on how you can use them together or separately. These are flavors that go so well together and can be used in a variety of dishes. I often use this combo which is why I almost always have it in the fridge.
I’m very happy that this post was not about my kitchen cabinets because they’re so messy and unorganized at the moment. I need to get that fixed soon, I do have a lot of coffee, tea, honey, a variety of pasta, and canned goods and it’s also packed with baking ingredients, anyway as I said I’m glad this post had nothing to do with my kitchen cabinets, because that would have been a disaster post for sure. When it comes to my fridge I like to keep it clean and organized at all times. Of course, that is not always the easiest thing to do but I try my best to keep it as organized as possible.
When it comes to tomorrow and baking I have no idea if I’ll be baking cookies or cinnamon buns but either way, it will be something great to blog about. It can turn out as a disaster or it can turn out great. I guess we won’t know until we’ve tried, but it will be fun either way I hope. If for some reason I can’t use the kitchen, I’ll figure something out. But hopefully, I will be able to use the kitchen tomorrow.
I hope all of you are having an amazing day and I hope to see y’all back here tomorrow for a new post.
