Bacon and cheese sauce pasta! A Dish to Die for!

Hey everyone!

Today I had pasta with bacon and cheese sauce for dinner today. It’s one of my favorites, even though I don’t eat it as much now as I used to. I’m excited about sharing this dinner tipp with Y’all. My mom was the one teaching me to do this, and when she made it .. It tasted way better then when I did it. She said the opposite. I guess it’s one of those things that tastes amazing no matter who makes it. But in the end our mom’s cooking usally tastes slightly better than when you make it yourself. It’s one of those dinner tip ideas that goes stright into the family cook book. To be honest we didn’t write down much of our family recipes, but we did write down some, and I’m trying to get better at writing down recipes that I’m making. Either it’s my own or old family recipes that I simply keep locked up in my head for safe keeping. But writing it down, is more wise in the long run for sure.

5 dl cheese sauce. ( 2 Knorr – Fromaggi pasta sace.)

1 Clove minched garlic

Italian seasoning

Red Chili flakes

280g sliced bacon

Pasta – Farfalle or your favorite

How to make it:

  1. Start by cutting bacon into medium sized pieces, add some butter into a pan, and start boiling the pasta water with some salt.
  2. When the butter has melted add inn the bacon, season with pepper.
  3. Add the pasta to the water when the water is boilig. When the bacon is crispy and nice, put it aside. Star mixing together the sauce in a saucepan as written on the package. Add 1 clove of minched garlic, some pepper, chili flakes and Italian seasoning. When the sauce starts to boil, add in the bacon and let it simmer for about a minute ( or as long as the sauce is supposed to cook.)
  4. When the pasta is ready, drain the water and add it into a serving bowl. When the sauce is done, pour it over the pasta and mix it all well together before serving. If you have parmasan add some into a bowl or put it on the table so the guests or the family can garte as much or as little over their dish as they want.

This is a dish that normally was pretty flavor less but after my mom got the idea to spice it up a nodge it was amazing and so worth trying.

This was a recipe from my side of the kitchen today, I hope all of you are having an amazing Wednesday and I hope to see y’all back here tomorrow for a new post!
