Hey everyone!
It’s Saturday, the sun is shining and I’ve been out on the pattio all morning, it’s been a wonderful day so far. The wind is pretty strong though, so it feels alot colder than it actually is, but other than that it’s been pretty great.
Growing up we would always have Taco’s on Fridays and homemade pizza on Saturdays. So I decided to do exactly that this weekend. Growing up my mom always baked a pizza from scratch, but we had canned pizza filling, added on corn and cheese before putitng into the oven. I don’t think that filling still excists, so I made it a little different. But it turned out pretty amazing and I thik my mom would have loved it even though it was a little different.
To make Hetty’s homemade pizza you need:
1 fresh roll-out pizza dugh
1 Box of pizza sauce
Pizza seasoning
1 Pound of Ground beef
Canned corn
Sliced mushrooms
Grated cheese
How to make Hetty’s homemade pizza:
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking-tray, then gently cover it with pizza sauce.
- Add some butter into a skillet, when the butter has melted add inn the ground beef, season with pizza seasong. Cook until the gorund beef is cooked and have reached a golden brown color.
- Gently spread the groundbeef evenly on the pizza, sprinkle some corn and mushrooms on top, befor covering it all up with grated cheese. Cook the pizza in the oven as written on the pizza-dough package. (Degrees and time varies depending on what brand of roll-out pizza dough you choose.)
I hope y’all love this recipe as much as we do, and I hope to see y’all back here tomorrow for a new post. I hope y’all have a blessed and wonderful Satuday!
